Temporary anchorage devices (TADS) can often be used to move teeth into position quicker and in ways traditional orthodontics have found difficult or impossible to accomplish.
These anchorage devices consist of small, titanium screws or plates that are placed where the orthodontist requests them. The orthodontist then sues the device to help position the teeth as necessary.
